Author: Uber Kyiv, 6 February - One year ago, Uber first launched its food delivery application Uber Eats in Ukraine. The Uber Eats app offers people the possibility to order meals from their favorite restaurants - freshly prepared and reliably delivered, for every taste and occasion, seven days a week. Today, Uber Eats celebrates the first anniversary of its launch in Kyiv in February 2019. Fun fact: In just 12 months, Uber Eats has transmitted orders for more than 250’000 kilos of food which equals 9 Bohdan Khmelnytsky Monuments on Sophia Square! Since its launch, Uber Eats has expanded, and now works in 3 cities - Kyiv, Lviv and Odessa. More than 800 restaurants became its partners, and offer a variety of cuisines, for any taste and budget. One can find a range of Ukrainian, Italian, Asian, Arabian and Georgian tastes. Moreover, great selection of vegan food is also available. The offer includes both well-known names as well as local favorites, such as Puzata Khata (5 locations) and Pesto Cafe (15 locations), restaurants Musafir, Milk Bar, Adelle, Pizzeria Napule, БагатоЛосося, The Burger, NOA, Tikithai, Epic Cheeseburger Cafe, Кебабця, WOKPIZZA, Тісто, Перша Ліпша Шаурма, TAWOUK and others.  Uber Eats assessed, collected and analyzed the taste preferences among Ukrainians in three cities where the service is available: in Kyiv, the most popular cuisines were Ukrainian and Asian cuisines. In Lviv, users more oftenly chose kebabs and Asian dishes, while in Odessa eaters prefered Asian dishes - wok and ramen. Additionally, hamburgers are popular in all cities. Uber Eats also assessed the taste preferences among Ukrainians in the three cities where the service is available: In Kyiv the most popular cuisines are Ukrainian, Asian, and Burgers. In Lviv, users prefer Asian food, Kebab and Burgers, while in Odessa, Asian food and Burgers are the most popular.  In Kyiv and Odessa, the peak hours for ordering meals are over lunch time, while people in Lviv prefer to order during dinner time. Breakfast meals are most popular on Saturday morning. The strongest day of the week for ordering via Uber Eats is Friday. The service is excellent for office employees who order food to their offices during working hours. Other audiences that often order food are large groups of people and families with children who value their free time too much to spend it on cooking.  Uber Eats offers local residents unprecedented convenience, selection and reliability to get the food they love, delivered to wherever they happen to be. With hundreds of freshly prepared meals available at the push of a button - from poke bowls to burgers, and everything in between - Uber Eats is the best way to get great food, delivered at Uber speed. We will work hard to roll out our food delivery service available to more cities in Ukraine,” said Igor Kovalov, Uber Eats Ukraine GM.  To celebrate the first anniversary in Ukraine, Uber Eats is offering promo code for new users in three cities: FEBKYIV200, FEBLVIV200 and FEBODESA200. All of them are valid from 03.02 until 09.02 and provide 200 UAH Off on orders from 400 UAH (in Lviv & Odesa) and from 450 UAH (in Kyiv).
