Vladislav Gorban, iDOC manger of Konika Minolta Ukraine Company, told about necessity of changes in the area of printed workflow giving arguments that “…costs for printing in large companies are like a black hole: it is impossible to find who, where and how much resources are being spent on company’s printing needs”. The results of uncontrolled company’s resources usage are the exceeding limits on printing, permanent technical problems which prevent employees to do their job efficiently and in time.

Konika Minolta Ukraine Company suggested several optimization ways: the reducing of equipment quantity, the replacement of old equipment by more economy analogs or outsourcing print service. Except of replacement there is another optimization mechanism – implementation SafeQ software, which on the opinion of specialists provides printing security. All participants could test the safety of printing with the help of user identification method.

Optimizing print workflow the company gains: reducing of print costs, reducing of print volume, reducing the cost of electricity and human resources, control of cash recourses, increasing security and control of printed documents.
