took place at the EBA office in Kyiv. This Round Table was organised within the framework of collaboration between the EBA Life Insurance Committee and the State Commission on Regulation of Financial Service Markets of Ukraine (hereinafter – State Commission) and focused on pension reform as well as prospects of non-state pension insurance. Member of the State Commission, Head of Insurance Supervision Department Vadym Kolomiets was invited to attend the meeting as a guest speaker.
During the meeting all participants had an opportunity to discuss a current state of the Ukrainian legislation regarding pension issues. Chiefly the EBA Life Insurance Committee members focused on respective provisions of the Draft Law on Insurance, European practices on development of non-pension insurance, endowment funds of insurers, etc.
