07/10 17:00 Working Group on Export & Import - EBA Western Ukrainian Branch

The meeting of the Working Group on Export&Import was held at the EBA office in Lviv. Natalia Shpick, Head of the Department of Customs Value Supervision of Lviv Customs Office attended the meeting.

The participants discussed the problems on definition and confirmation of customs value according to six definition methods of customs value under the Regulations of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No 1766 dated 20 December 2006 and No 339 dated 9 April 2008. Natalya Shpik stressed, that the preliminary definition of customs value cannot be considered as final due to specific peculiarities of each particular case. Also, she mentioned that the definition of customs value can be provided in one day in case all necessary documents are submitted. The participants agreed to cooperate with the Department of Customs Value Supervision of Lviv Customs Office in order to assist and consult  the EBA members.
