30/09 10:00 Signing of Memorandum of cooperation on attracting foreign investments into Ternopil region economy - EBA Western Ukrainian Branch

The Memorandum of cooperation on attracting foreign investments into Ternopil region economy was signed between the EBA Western Ukrainian Branch in the person of Mr Klaas van der Veen, Board Chairman, and chiefs of Ternopil Oblast State Administration, Ternopil City Council, Ternopil Customs Office, Ternopil State Tax Administration.

The Parties have reached agreement to take the following steps:

1. Promote forming attractive image of Ternopil region and Ukraine among potential investors; create commercial, legal and regulative environment influencing on investments.
2. Support realization of investment projects with assistance of foreign investors within own commission; create favorable conditions for foreign investment protection on the territory of the region; guarantee receiving of necessary permissions during investment activity according to Ukrainian legislation.
3. Analyze and unify problems occurring during foreign investment in the region; introduce motions concerning their solution to central authorities; assist foreign investors in cooperation with executive authorities. 
4.Prepare propositions relating improvement of state regulation of foreign investments processes and activation of these processes.
5. Assist in settling up and establishing of cooperation between foreign investors and state authorities, scientific institutions and educational institutions.
6. Participate in holding of common round tables, seminars, symposiums, conferences on foreign investments.
7. Consider the problems of foreign investors and assist in their solving within regular meetings of the Foreign investment attraction Council under Ternopil Oblast State Administration.
8. Create the education/training system for labors (blue collars) according needs from the investors.
