The guest speakers presented the Republic of Cyprus as one of the largest International financial centres due to its numerous investment advantages, namely: rule of law, developed infrastructure, qualified personnel, tax incentives for International companies.
Mr Panayiotis Panayiotou, Senior Secretary of Consulate of the Republic of Cyprus in Ukraine, opened the conference and affirming the strong links between Ukraine and Cyprus.
Mr Chris Christou from Lefteris Livadhiotis & Sons presented the real estate market of Cyprus. Larnaka is a strategic region for investments in Cyprus. The state invested into construction and reconstruction of the trade port, airport and marine club 4 bln of USD.
Mr George Skordis, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Marine Transport Bank compared bank services in Ukraine and Cyprus. EU citizens may receive a loan of 80% of the real estate value (60% for Ukrainian citizens) with 5% annual interest rate. Cyprus introduced attractive tax incentives for the International companies. Nowadays the income tax constitutes 10% in Cyprus.
Mrs Olga Naumova, Deputy Director of FEOD Group presented the Cyprus educational opportunities and the Hilton hotel internship programmes. The programme Work & Study Is designed for those interested in thE European education free of charge. The programme offers colleague studies (BA diploma in hotel management, tourism or MBA, plus part time work at Hilton on Cyprus.
The guests attended a reception with the Cyprus cuisine and took part in the lottery organised by FEOD Group and the Aerosvit Airlines.
