The participants discussed the need to introduce NCTS on the way of Ukraine`s integration to EU. The New Computerized Transit System is the European system of electronic declaration and a flow of documents, which is developed for replacement of paper declaration and processing of customs documents. This system is used by 22 countries, including all EU member states and countries of the European Free Trade Association.
The participants were presented with a Karnet À.Ò.À, which is a unified International customs document that allows to temporally import goods according to simplified procedure of registration without payment of taxes or duties. This system simplifies the custom control and facilitates work of the customs service.
EBA HR Committee
at the EBA office in Kyiv, 1-st floor, 1A Andriyivsky Uzviz. The meeting was devoted to summarising results of the EBA HR Committee activity in 2008. During this meeting the participants discussed the Committee priorities and action plan for 2009.
