29-31 October 2008. The Annual International Investment Summit of Donetsk Region will be first held on October, 29-31, 2008, at the “ExpoDonbass’ Specialized Exhibition Centre in Donetsk, Ukraine, in the presence of the Presidents of Ukraine and Poland.

The Summit is held on the initiative of Deloitte, Ernst & Young and Altera Finance companies, with participation of the leaders of Ukrainian business – System Capital Management, Industrial Union of Donbass, as well as sponsorship of Warsaw Stock Exchange, and is supported by Donetsk Region Council, Donetsk Region State Administration and Donetsk City Council.

The summit will be targeting investment promotion into the Donetsk region, one of the most dynamically developing regions of Ukraine. The event will feature a conference and an investment exhibition, as well as a number of business trips and bilateral meetings. Projects from across the region have been selected from three top areas boosting the region’s social and economical development: Real Estate and Infrastructure Euro-2012 (51 investment projects totaling USD 6,5 bln), Investments into Real Sector of Donbass (79 projects, 1,5 bln), and Innovations and Energy-saving Technologies (95 projects, USD 0,8 bln).
