September 4, 2008. During 30 days of September of the current year Ukraine International Airlines provided services to 168 000 passengers – same as during whole 12 months of the year 1996. Which means that after exactly 12 years transportation volumes of the company increased by 12 times. In the period January to September 2008 Ukraine International Airlines carried 1.30 million passengers; 18.7% more than in the first 9 months of 2007.
168,000 passengers were carried in September 2008; 5% more than in September 2007. The passenger load factor in September 2008 was 76.1 %, on average up 7.4 points, in September 2007 – 68.7 %. In September 2008 UIA operated 1673 flights. In September 2008, 433 tons of cargo and mail were carried.
