Joining the traditions settled 100 years ago by Zaporozhie central regional hospital founders, Philips company congratulated the hospital with a wonderful anniversary. Many skilled doctors have been saving people lives during this one hundred years. It was happening from one hand in different ways – because of the technologies that changed dramatically, and from other hand – it was happening the same way – with love and care.

- Philips is a healthcare and wellbeing company from the very beginning in 1891 in Eindhoven (Netherland) and our mission is very close with the doctor’s mission, - General Director Philips Ukraine Maarten Durville said.

The ambassador of the Netherlands Ron Keller also congratulated the hospital, saying: «As Netherlands official representative, where Philips plays a leading role in developing innovations, I can tell that Zaporozhye hospital has received the high-quality equipment. We are glad that the Dutch companies are not only developing in Ukraine, but also actively participating in social life of society. Also I would like to congratulate Philips itself with a 15-th anniversary of successful work in Ukraine”.

The head doctor of Zaporozhye central regional hospital Vladimir Trunov thanked for the good words and added: «Company Philips has got a strong reputation as a producer of ultrasound equipment, that helps to make diagnostics more reliable. The new ultrasound system, that was given to hospital, follows the high quality standard of Philips. Thanks to detailed imaging our doctors will have the information for the exact diagnosis, and it will allow to provide more tailor-fit treatment for patients».

Zaporozhye region Governor Aleksandr Starukh appreciated Philips efforts on the way to Sustainability in Ukrainian society: «Zaporozhie medical institutions serve more than 55 thousand people. And each unit of medical equipment plays an important role in healthcare of the region. Philips Sustainability projects is a good example of philanthropy that understands an importance of taking care about national health. At the same time it shows how philanthropy traditions are kept and followed – Zaporozhie hospital was founded by Dutch people, who now are supporting it. It is very important that such a big business players as Philips come to the region as a social responsible companies".
