September 4, 2008. In August 2008 UIA operated 1900 flights. The passenger load factor in August 2008 has made up 78.5%, on average, in August 2007 – 68.8%. This exceeded the same index of the previous year by 9.7%.
Totally 197 thousand people were carried in August 2008. It’s by 13.7% more than in August 2007. From January till August 2008 1,140 thousand people were carried. It’s by 21% more than in 8 months of 2007. In August 2008 430 tons of cargo and mail were carried.
