On June, 20 - thousands of Kyiv citizens looked after the bright show of the best masters of Europe, which showed the talents during the First Kyiv International Fireworks Festival - «Stars for you». An audience admired fireworks with synchronous musical accompaniment of pop rhythms setting by the leading pyrotechnists of Italy, Germany, France and Ukraine.

The First Kyiv International Fest is devoted 18-anniversary of Ukrsibbank - one of the biggest Ukrainian banks. Ukrsibbank is part of fourth worldwide biggest financial group of BNP Paribas – glad to present the Ukrainian audience the brilliant palette of the best fireworks of Europe. Now Ukraine joined in with such countries, as Germany, Malta, Australia, Singapore, France, Japan and South Korea, where such shows pass annually.

In judge‘s decision, the winner of festival was become by the French command – company Lacroix- Ruggieri, appearance of which was finishing and caused biggest public response.  Other participants – Orzella (Italy), «Dance of Fire» (Ukraine) and Feuerwerkerei Rohr (Germany) – got the diplomas of festival laureates.

More than 150 thousand audience going to admire the keen competition of Europe’ best pyrotechnics. Thousands of people were disposed on the observational grounds of Vladymyrs’ hills and around “Druzhby Narodov” Arch. In the embankment is the widest review, where was possible to see not only the patterns of fireworks but as well to hear synchronous musical accompaniment.

The refined and saturated show was performed by the Italian command which came forward the first. The Ukrainian pyrotechnists from company «Dance of Fire» showed the program in second turn. Under the rhythms of waltz, tango, sambo, foxtrot and gypsy music the team presented dancing fireworks in the sky. Third in the show was performance of German masters. By opinion of audience and judges of festival - the keenest appearance was with the program of French company Lacroix- Ruggieri. The team prepared «minimalistic, but very beautiful program» - company’s representative said.

Festival guests and participants was happy with the content and organization of event in Kyiv and, expressed an intention to take part in the Second Kyiv International Fireworks Fest. The Show began with an insignificant delay due to technical unexpected circumstances and this reason, not nearly decreased but vice versa multiplied the quantity of public. Due to concerted and professional work of militia enforcement authorities of Kyiv – during and after completion of show – nobody suffered, nobody  is detained.

About Festival:

Appearance of every team occupied about 12 мин. Fireworks was started into sky from four barges, placed in the middle of Dnipro river. Front of the game shooting made 170 m, at a maximally possible in Ukraine height are 200 м.

The festival program of participants was based not only on pyrotechnics but also on musical accompaniment: fireworks arranged scattered in sky to music. In the embankment near the River port were set acoustic systems for the synchronous reproducing of music during a show.

Teams:

Lacroix- Ruggieri (France) is the eldest pyrotechnic firm of Europe, founded 250 years back. A frequent winner of most prestigious fireworks fest in Montreal, Cannes, Shankhae, Tokyo, Berlin.
Orzella (Italy) – company is more than 120 years. Founded in 1884 Took part in many fireworks festivals in Malta, in Tarragona, Stanford, in San-Sebastian and in Rome.

Feuerwerkerei Rohr (Germany) – company is promoted in 1945 in Hanover. Took part in many festivals: in Japan, in France, Great Britain, Denmark, Sweden, Monaco and in Netherlands.

«Dance of Fire» (Ukraine) – one of leaders of pyrotechnic market of Ukraine. Winner of the Ukrainian festival in Dnipropetrovsk and winner in the nomination of the National festival of fireworks in Yalta.
