In the eve of Children defense day BLG Logistics, leader of the European logistic market and ViDi Group, realized a joint social project.

Due to sympathy, open hearted and desire to help children employees of BLG Logistics starting from December, 2007 till April, 2008, scarified their personal time, make efforts to collect humanitarian help in Germany.

How everything started? In December, 2007 the group of 5 volunteers from BLG Logistics company showed a desire to help Ukrainian children. In same turn, ViDi Group, namely employees of the joint Ukrainian-German venture of Е.H. Harms Automobile Logistics Ukraine with pleasure caught up this remarkable idea.

At the choice of child’s establishment a decision to be stopped for the Vasil’kov central district hospital and for this purpose quite a bit reasons was accepted. A hospital is subsided only by state, and exists, actually survives due to employees and parents. Strikes the volume of state support which states only 2 uah per a child in a day, including both a feed and treatment,...and amount of medical stuff in the hospital with 150 beds far from European, and human norms.  But, despite it, an atmosphere pleasantly surprises. The unique spirit of love and kindness reigns in child’s department. Doroshenko Nina Ivanovna – Chief of the Child’s department of Vasil’kov central district hospital comments on: «…children hospital is a Lord’s temple, children feel it and even after convalescence come it is simple in guests to us». However anyone may make sure of this by visiting the hospital.

As for the process of collection of humanitarian help in accordance to a list which was beforehand made taking into account the wishes of hospital employees, it is here needed to mark creative approach of the German colleagues. For collection of money facilities the group of volunteers organized excursions on a terminal in Bremerhaven for a conditional price 15 Euros. Information about a social project was placed in local printing editions and international corporate magazine of BLG Logistics, the special reportage also was placed TV. Proposal to help was accepted a by hotels, clinics and, certainly, ordinary people. As a result of long way wooden children beds, computers, tea-pots, coffee-pots, radio telephones, towels, kitchen devices, special bed with heating for prematurely born children, toys and other goods were collected.

Company ViDi Group in the person of the joint venture of Е.H. Harms Automobile Logistics Ukraine provided help in passing of all of necessary customs procedures and direct transmission of humanitarian things to the hospital.

We will hope that this social project will engender the beginning of more wide Partnership between ViDi Group and BLG Logistics, and future joint actions will become tradition and will bring positive results both business and society.
