The event will gather representatives of international manufacturers of pharmaceutical products and companies, institutions and organisations that use intellectual property objects in production of pharmaceuticals and other business activities.
Protection of intellectual property rights has been increasingly topical in the aggressive competitive environment on the pharmaceutical market.

The chief goal of the Conference is to provide floor for concerned members of pharmaceutical market and leading law experts to discuss matters related to protection of intellectual property rights in production, distribution and other uses of pharmaceutical products.

The presenters at the Conference will include judges for Kiev City Economic Court, Kiev District Administrative Court, experts in intellectual property, and practising lawyers.

Subjects offered for discussion include impact of Ukraine’s accession to WTO on protection of intellectual property rights of pharmaceutical producers;  specific aspects of pharmaceuticals advertising; court practice in protection of intellectual property rights; legal governance of intellectual property rights protection on the Internet; aspects of forensic examination of names, composition and production methods of pharmaceutical products.
