Agshin Mirzazade, Deputy Head of Research at Foyil Securities in Kyiv, Ukraine, has been promoted to the Head of Research.

In 2006 Mr. Mirzazade gained his MBA at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, USA, after winning a scholarship from the S.T.A.R.T Caucasus program sponsored by USAID. Prior to that, he had been involved in the banking industry in Azerbaijan since 1996, working as a credit manager with leading commercial banks and international financial donors. He joined Foyil Securities in October, 2006 as an equity research analyst covering banking and insurance.

Over the past two years since Mr. Mirzazade joined Foyil, he has been demonstrating top-of-the-notch analytical skills, sharpening expertise in marketing Foyil research to Sales & Trading and clients, excellent work attitude and commitment to meeting and exceeding the Company goals.

The appointment of Mr.Mirzazade also marks a new approach to managing Foyil Research Department.
