“INGO Ukraine” JSIC came out as a general partner of the 2nd International Conference “Insurance of Investment into Real Estate: Reality and Prospect”, which was held on the 21nd May 2008 at the “Hyatt Regency Kiev” hotel.

The goal of conducting the conference was to show to the participants of the market the necessity of the more civilized approach to the risk distribution between the participants of the process: investors, banks, developers, consulting companies, architects, constructors and etc.

In the course of the conference’s work the key risk groups related to realization of the investment projects into the real estate were determined and the main trends and methods of a risk management in the construction sphere were singled out. The main trends of the investment project’s insurance in the real estate sphere at the different stages of their realization were characterized, and possibility and efficiency of their appliance in Ukraine. The participants discussed the possibilities of making a new mechanism of cooperation between the investors, constructors and insurers. And also the Memorandum on cooperation of the League of Insurance Companies of Ukraine and Ukrainian Building Association was signed. At the root of the Memorandum an idea of joint cooperation between the construction, development and insurance companies for a sake of joint development of insurance and construction markets of Ukraine underlay.

The company “INGO Ukraine” JSIC represented a report on the topic – “Performance evaluation of insurance products for decreasing of risks at the different stages of the projects’ realization”.

The 2nd International Conference “Insurance of Investment into Real Estate: Reality and Prospect” was organized upon the initiative of the company “Slav-Invest” and Ukrainian Building Association with the participation of the chief partner of the insurance company “INGO Ukraine”, and also with the support of “Ukrsotsbank”, "SGS Ukraine", law firm “Lavrinovich and Partners”, “Ukrainian Insurance Alliance” (AXA Group), Insurance Company “PIK Ukraine”.
