13 May 2008. The biggest marketing agency in Ukraine celebrated its 15th Anniversary together with the top management of the leading Ukrainian and international companies in the new format of ‘VIP get-away’.
The VIP get-away events are new to Ukraine. The format seems similar to an incentive tour, i.e. a trip abroad that some companies here organize for their staff with the aim of motivating them. Among the key differences of the VIP get-away is a very high level of participants expectations, both in terms of the tours content and in terms of organisational standards. The cost of even a minor hitch is very high.
Besides, for any VIP get-away to be successful it should be driven by a sincere wish of the initiators to have a nice time in a company of good friends. The participants of such projects are always very shrewd and sensitive to any attempts at manipulation, e.g. aiming to raise their loyalty towards the company-initiator of the tour.
Together with the management of Pulse the new format was tested by the top management of 25 prominent national and international businesses. Around 100 participants of the get-away were the first guests at the newly-opened resort Comfort Flora Beach (near the town of Kemer, Turkey). An intensive programme of the tour covered four days, 24 to 27 April. The trip marked Pulses 15th Anniversary, which the company celebrates in 2008. All the planning and logistics for the project were handled by the companys Event Management Department.
Pulse is the most established marketing agency in Ukraine. It was founded in 1993 by a Scot Robert McNeil, who was soon thereafter joined by his fellow countryman Stuart McKenzie. In 2002 the companys leadership grew by a third Managing Partner – Mark Wright, who originally comes from New Zealand. Pulse is a pioneer of the marketing and sales promotion in Ukraine. The agency was the first one to start consumer market researches, merchandising services, etc. Throughout the companys 15 years of history so far it has been consistently demonstrating a stable and impressive growth.
