April 11, 2008. – Arzinger&Partners Ukraine acted as a legal counsel to Dragon Capital and East Capital Bering Ukraine Fund in the acquisition of the 70%stake in Chumak – one of Ukraine’s top consumer brands.
As the result of the deal, Investment bank Dragon Capital and East Capital Bering Ukraine Fund have jointly gained control over 70% stake from Chumak’s co-founder, Professor Hans Rausing.
Arzinger & Partners Ukraine provided legal support of the deal, including the due diligence, obtaining of the permit for closing the deal with the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine, legally supported negotiations between the parties to the deal and transfer of control.
