Volodymyr Beck, Committee Chairman, President of Eclipse SP, informed attendees of lobbying efforts to amend the draft of Tax Code of Ukraine related to the taxation of IT sector. Committee members agreed to focus further lobbying efforts on the two moments: saving the opportunity for IT sector to use private entrepreneurs working on a single tax and creating special regime of taxation for the sector.

EBA GMM with the representatives of STA in Kharkiv Oblast - EBA Kharkiv Branch
was held at the conference hall of STA in Kharkiv Oblast. Deputy Head of STA in Kharkiv Oblast Roman Senechin informed participants of the results of declaration campaign for incomes received in 2009 and stressed that the current year there are 5 % more declarations comparatively to the previous year, although the sum of taxes to pay decreased from UAH 19 mln to 17.2 mln. Mr Senechin also noted that it’s necessary to prevent “in envelopes” salary payments and stressed that since the beginning of the year the tax bodies fixed 465 cases of unofficial salary payments, as a result UAH 9.3 mln was charged and 13 criminal cases were launched.
