Today representatives of pharmaceutical and IT companies as well as law firms and insurance companies met with Pavlo Kovtonyuk, Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine, and Yuriy Bugay, E-Health Project Office Coordinator, who presented global E-Health project - an innovative reform in Ukrainian health care sphere.
During the meeting the speakers discussed main principles and stages of E-Health implementation, described the first steps that had already been taken and future plans to synchronize E-Health system with other reforms in the health care sphere.
The fundamental principle of the E-Health reform is the interaction between non-governmental organizations, business and the government itself.
Implementation of E-Health is certainly important for building an effective health care system in Ukraine and we hope that business will join forces in order to bring this idea to life. Natalia Serhienko, Executive Director of the EBA Health Care Committee, underlined that “E-Health implementation in the format offered by the project team and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine will create possibilities for using and further service support for different componentsof this program, including medical and information systems, from different IT companies to a wide range of medical facilities”.
European Business Association is grateful to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine for this true-lifework and their desire to implement new progressiveprojects in our country.
