Being the supreme governing body of the EBA the Annual General Membership Meetings are of strategic importance to the EBA activity.

At the EBA AGM the EBA President and Executive Director update the EBA membership on results of annual Association’s activity and brief on plans for the current year. Each EBA members has a chance to receive the EBA Annual Report including financial statements of the Association.

Elections of the EBA Board are held during the Annual General Membership Meetings as well.

Involvment of governmnetal guest speakers to the the EBA Annual General Membership Meetings allows the Association to get first-hand informaion on prospects of Ukraine's investment climate development and discuss the most pending obstacles to investment in Ukraine.

At the latest EBA Annual General Membership Meeting of 22.02.2006 our honorary guest speakers were:

Mr Ian Boag, Ambassador of the European Commission to Ukraine & Belarus;
Mr Hryhoriy Nemyrya, Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister for Integration.

EBA Regulatory Affairs Committee was held at the EBA head office in Kyiv featuring guest speaker Ms. Kseniya Lyapina, Deputy Had of Parliamentary Committee on Regulatory Affairs and Entrepreneurship. Committee Members focused their attention on technical regulation issues and the Draft Law on State Market Control. more »

EBA Tax Committee convened at the EBA Kyiv-based office. This time the Committee members focused their attention on preparation of the ad-hoc meeting to discuss tax system reform. Just to recap, the idea of arranging this meeting was talked over by the Tax Committee members previously. more »
