 The EBA Tax Committee was established in the year of 2000.
At the EBA Tax Committee members have a possibility to exchange information regarding tax issues and problems they face doing business in Ukraine. The Committee addresses the most critical issues faced by the EBA members in the sphere of taxation and works to communicate its concerns/ideas/observations to the relevant authorities and seek for the resolution of the issues raised.
On 24 November 2009 Vladimir Kotenko (Ernst&Young) was reelected for the Tax Committee Chair 2010 position.
The committee priorities for 2010 are:
- Đroviding methodological support to the state authorities for reforming the tax system;
- Facilitate settlement of the issues faced by the EBA members.
EBA Tax Committee meeting stick to the first Thursday of each month at 5 p.m.
The EBA Ad-hoc Working Group on Marketing Charges together with the Tax Committee prepared the Analytical Review IN FOCUS: taxation of marketing charges. This document was issued in December 2007 to elucidate the problem of taxation of expenditures related to rendering marketing services and give recommendations to resolve it. |
