The EBA Public Relations Committee was established in November 2005 in response to the interest of PR professionals from EBA member companies. The Committee holds its meetings on a monthly basis on the last Thursday at 17:00 at the EBA office.

The Committee quickly gained live interest from the EBA community as well as from mass media, and by now has already become a driving force for those involved into public relations to raise and discuss issues of their interest and concern.

In 2010 strategic objectives of the Committee concern several fields of public relations activities, namely:

• Carry on further development of the EBA Public Relations Committee as an efficient platform for the EBA members to share their experience and practices in PR sphere
• Facilitate dialogue with Ukrainian and International media
• Ensure professional development of PR specialists through monthly meetings of Marketing & PR School in memory of Robert Reed

The PR Committee Chairmanship 2010 were elected on 14 December 2009:

• Chairman - Anastasiya Gogoleva, Telenor Group Ukraine
• Vice-Chairman - Victoria Yesaulenko, ING Wholesale Banking Ukraine

The EBA members should follow the EBA Code of PR Standards and Ethical Practice aimed at proclaiming European standards of PR and communications in the business practice.
