The EBA Marketing Committee brings together marketing and public relations professionals from the EBA member-companies. They get together to discuss latest news and trends in the marketing sphere, to listen to the presentations from advertising, market research companies etc.; share experience. When required the Committee members also discuss respective legislative initiatives.

Among the issues the Committee has discussed recently have been Ukrainian mass media market review, BTL creativity, branding, marketing strategies (lessons from market leaders), questionable aspects of the Law of Ukraine “On Advertising”.

The Committee is chaired by Maryna Rymarenko(Head of Marketing Department, DEOL Partners) who was reelected for the Leadership in 2008.

The EBA Marketing Committee meets on the third Wednesday of each month.

The EBA Ad-hoc Working Group on Marketing Charges together with the Tax Committee prepared the Analytical Review IN FOCUS: taxation of marketing charges. This document was issued in December 2007 to elucidate the problem of taxation of expenditures related to rendering marketing services and give recommendations to resolve it.
