The European Business Association, being a voluntary union of legal entities, a non-governmental and non-profit organization, designated the following Code of Conduct for application and implementation by its members.
As a member of the European Business Association, the company will:
Promote fair and transparent competition
Respect intellectual and other property rights
Promote and respect non-corruption practices
Encourage compliance with prevailing law at all times
Respect employees’ rights, including health and safety, equal opportunities at work, and training
Seek to develop constructive relations with local and national government bodies to achieve a just and productive business climate
Respect local communities, and recognize the importance of environmental protection
Promote the application of these principles by those with whom we do business
The EBA members should also adhere to the EBA Code of Behaviour that is an appendix to the EBA Code of Conduct aimed to enhance the EBA members’ ethical behaviour in their activities related to the Association.

EBA Regulatory Affairs Committee
was held at the EBA head office in Kyiv featuring guest speaker Ms. Kseniya Lyapina, Deputy Had of Parliamentary Committee on Regulatory Affairs and Entrepreneurship. Committee Members focused their attention on technical regulation issues and the Draft Law on State Market Control.

EBA Tax Committee
convened at the EBA Kyiv-based office. This time the Committee members focused their attention on preparation of the ad-hoc meeting to discuss tax system reform. Just to recap, the idea of arranging this meeting was talked over by the Tax Committee members previously.
